4QD - Our Pro-360 takes the advanced features and high voltage rating of the Pro-160 and couples them to a new power stage capable of some seriously high currents. It uses the heavy duty bus bars and heatsink structure of our proven 4QD-300 to handle currents up to 360+A making this a really high power programmable controller, we also have enhanced air cooled and liquid cooled heatsinks available.

 

The new Pro series has been designed from the ground up to give a wide range of features. Full control over the motor current in both drive and regen modes, and inputs for radio control, temperature and speed sensors, dead mans handles, and limit switches etc. It has a display to show voltage, current, and temperature that can be taken off and mounted conveniently. The built-in keypad* means it’s easy to adjust between steady or very dynamic operation.

 

The standard version is ideally suited for motors up to around 10kW, and the high voltage version up to 15kW. The standard maximum voltage is a nominal 48V, but we also have high voltage variants that can go to 84V. We have recently introduced HC and HCV versions that have up-rated capacitors to allow sustained operation at the higher currents typically found in electric boats.
