West Coast 1" Rail, Switch Set #9
The Accucraft West Coast #9 Switch is designed for 7.25” and 7.5” ride-on railroads using 1” aluminum or steel rail. Built for durability and ease of assembly, the switch utilizes precision cast steel components throughout the turnout.
Each switch set includes:
- One cast steel #9 frog
- Cast steel left-hand point
- Cast steel right-hand point
- Cast steel rail guards
- Matching mounting hardware and assembly components
The frog, points, and rail guards are manufactured from high-strength cast steel to provide excellent wear resistance and long service life under heavy ride-on railroad operation. The design provides smooth wheel transitions through the turnout while maintaining reliable tracking for locomotives and rolling stock.
The modular construction allows builders to assemble the switch using standard 1” rail sections, making installation straightforward while providing a professional-grade turnout suitable for club railroads, private railways, and commercial ride-on operations.
