Accucraft Rideon - The EMD GP38 is an American outline diesel locomotive. It is a 4-axle diesel-electric road switcher locomotive built by General Motors' Electromotive Division as part of its Dash 2 line between April 1972 and December 1986.
Our model has a wealth of detail. The model features an all steel body, brass castings, ball bearing axles, spring suspension, direct chain drive and prewired headlights and marker lights. Power is provided by 4 350W electric motors making it a very power model.
Models are produced in Japan. Painted and packaged in China. Options include 4QD electronic control or Rhino2 electronic control with installation and sound system. Electronics are installed in the US. Base model includes 1.6" scale working couplers and primed grey paint as standard.
