RGS Goose No. 7 As Preserved at the Colorado Railroad
RGS Galloping Goose No. 7 – Colorado Railroad Museum Version
The Rio Grande Southern’s famous Galloping Goose No. 7 is one of the most distinctive vehicles in American narrow-gauge history. Originally built in 1936 from automotive components, No. 7 was later rebuilt for excursion service and today is preserved at the Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden, Colorado.
The Accucraft Ride-On RGS No. 7 recreates this preserved configuration with an all-metal body, detailed passenger compartment, working headlights, and battery-electric drive. Designed for serious operation as well as display, it brings one of Colorado’s most recognizable narrow-gauge icons to the ride-on railway.
