Accucraft 1.6" scale arch-bar trucks are designed for ride-on rolling stock and represent the classic freight car trucks widely used on North American railroads in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The original arch-bar design used bolted steel bars forming an arched side frame with a sprung bolster and journal boxes for the axles.
The arch-bar design provides an authentic early-era look, making these trucks ideal for historic freight cars, logging equipment, and early passenger cars.
